What we do for cheap entertainment

When we have nothing planned for the weekend and have some spare time to keep us occupied we simply get in the car and use the GPS to guide us around to get things. For example we will locate a pizza hut and order bread sticks, then Mcdonalds and stop in for some fries, then stop in at a random store and just browse the time away. Sounds corny, but it kind be a lot of fun with the kids.

When it is nice outside it is always fun to hit the park and mess around. However we learned to watch our step when walking on the grass at the park. It is actually wise to stay off the grass as there are many indoor dogs in this area that need a place to go. Really irritates Dave that pets have more rights than children in New Jersey. People with pets were given preference over our kids when looking for apartments. Also pets can do as they please where they want yet when we have a child that needs to...I will stop there.



We love to go to Wal-Mart when it is not packed with people and check out the goods. We can spend hours shopping and messing off and typically leave the store with very little.

Kaden is always up for a scooter race with Dave. Santa gave the kids scooters for Chirstmas and it is one of the best gifts ever. Since there is not much for lawns out here, we take it to the sidewalks, Dave and the kids literally terrorize people walking down the sidewalk with the scooters and freak me out when they find a hill to go down (way to fast for scooters). Ryleigh is the best big sister ever letting Kaden have the lead once in a while, but that is a rare occasion she thinks she always needs to win.

We found this old time fire truck driving around lost one day. We were typically always lost until we got the GPS.
