We went to the parade in Palisade Park and then that evening watched the July 4 Macy's fireworks show along the Hudson River. One of the more exciting events in Jersey. The show in Idaho Falls doesn't even come close.

I think we were the only family in Jersey that hung our clothes out to save money. In hindsight we were probably looked at as idiots with the pollution and other "stuff" that floats around in the air here.
